Briefs: Veolia invests in marine vessel
LOMBARD -- Veolia ES Industrial Services announced the addition of the DSV MT-6016 vessel -- named the Swordfish -- to its growing marine services group. Designed with cutting-edge technology, the new ship was custom-designed to allow Veolia Environmental Services to take on more complex sub-sea construction and dive-support projects. The vessel is now at port in Galveston, Texas, and will be deployed this month.
Navistar moves on with SEC filings
WARRENVILLE -- Navistar International Corp. moved closer to becoming a current filer with the Securities and Exchange Commission by filing its 2005 Form 10-K. The filing includes restated financial data for the corporation's 2003, 2004 and 2005 fiscal years, substantially consistent with the unaudited, preliminary financial data for the same three-year period released Oct. 25 in summary form. The company reported net income of $139 million in 2005, and net losses of $44 million in 2004 and $333 million in 2003.
