Jewish artists to exhibit in Schaumburg

The American Jewish Artists Club Members' Annual Award Art Exhibition opens Sunday, Nov. 29, in the Herb Aigner Gallery of Schaumburg Prairie Center for The Arts, 201 Schaumburg Court, Schaumburg.

It features the work of many of the 83-year-old club's members on the theme The Gift in various media: painting, sculpture, mixed media, photography and printmaking. The works will be juried by Staci Boris, a Chicago curator, and awards will be presented during the opening reception from 1-3 p.m.

Members exhibiting live in Berwyn, Buffalo Grove, Chicago, Deerfield, Evanston, Lake Forest, Northbrook, Highland Park, Skokie, and Wilmette. The exhibition will run through Sunday, Jan. 3. The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on many evenings and weekends.
