Pinning economy on Democrats illogical
Ever since the financial bailout has hit the news, your paper has been inundated with letters placing the blame on Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter and Lyndon Johnson, or basically any Democrat.
I fail to see their logic. If poor politics were put in place by these presidents, why then did George Bush not correct them eight years ago?
Did or did he not have Republican control of both the House and Senate for six years?
If these policies were guaranteed to produce disaster, why did "W" sit on his hands for six years?
The aforementioned letter writers are identical to our current president in that neither can admit when their side is wrong.
As for me, I'll throw my vote to the Democrats any time and throw trickle-down economics into my garbage can.
