Prospect High has food drive

Prospect High School, under the sponsorship and direction of the school's Service Club, is conducting its annual Holiday Food Drive through Nov. 17.

Second period classes throughout the school are collecting nonperishable food, which will be distributed to the Mount Prospect Human Services Food Pantry and to C.E.D.A. Northwest in Mount Prospect. The social service agencies will distribute food bags to local needy residents at Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The Service Club, under the direction of David Jacobson, will provide a special breakfast for the class that collects the most food per student. To make a donation, call Jacobson at (847) 718-5230.
