Cribbs not practicing for Browns after injury

BEREA, Ohio -- Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Cribbs is satisfied that Ravens defensive end Dwan Edwards did not deliver a cheap shot on him in the closing seconds of Monday night's game.

Cribbs, who was briefly hospitalized with a possible neck injury and concussion, said he spoke to Edwards, Baltimore linebacker Ray Lewis and few other Ravens players on Tuesday.

The Browns were worried the Ravens were retaliating for Browns quarterback Brady Quinn's chop block on Baltimore linebacker Terrell Suggs, who could miss significant time with a knee injury. Quinn has been fined an undisclosed amount by the NFL.

Cribbs was being held out of practice on Wednesday. He hopes to play Sunday against Detroit.
