'Choices' are really no choice
After listening to the daily lecture from President Obama about how we need to have "shared responsibility" in health care, it is becoming clear what that means. He and his health czar will know how to spend our dollars better than we do.
They will let us know what our share of tax dollars will be. We will share our tax dollars with the feds and they will be responsible to let us know what our choices and limits will be. The decision will be the feds.
In fact, the health care bill before the House (H.R. 3200) there is even a "Health Choices Commissioner," to be appointed by the president, who will rigorously define our choices.
It is instructive to note that Congress and the president and executive branch and many of the unions do not wish to be sharing our good fortune.
