BrightStar makes acquisition

WHEATON - BrightStar of DuPage County, a full-service health care staffing agency that provides medical and nonmedical home care, announced that it acquired the home care clients and caregiver employees of Always There Resources, locally owned by Nat Truitt. Always There Resources opened in 2006 and has provided residents of Wheaton, Glen Ellyn and the surrounding area with service for in-home nonmedical care. Their core business is helping seniors continue to live independently in their homes. Jim Flickinger, local owner of BrightStar of DuPage County met Truitt while laying the ground work to open his business in 2008. Truitt will still be a part of the overall business development, but has decided to take a step back to focus on other business ventures which includes technology services for seniors.
