Skating fundraiser in Roselle for neonatal infants
The Chicago-based Jackson Chance Foundation is presenting a "Donate to Skate" fundraiser at Coachlite Skate Center in Roselle from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23.
It's a benefit dedicated to families with critically ill infants in the neonatal intensive care units of hospitals. The foundation focuses on raising funds for hospital parking fees so that parents can spend more visiting time with their children. The program is now available at Lurie Children's Hospital, Northwestern Prentice Women's Hospital and Rush Children's Hospital.
The Donate to Skate event features a costume contest and "retro" sweets and snacks.
A minimum donation of $120 is required for entry.
