Life in prison worse than death

Is the death penalty really the answer? Taking the life of someone who took the life of another person or persons doesn't bring those people back into this world.

Unfortunately, we live in a violent country where these crimes are committed but who are we to say that someone's life should be taken from them? I think that life in prison with no chance of no parole is a better form of punishment than the death penalty.

A lifetime of punishment to me seems a lot worse then the death penalty. Like my mother always says: Two wrongs do not make a right.
