Questions for Bean on health care bill
Where is Melissa Bean?
After reading Congresswoman Bean's stated keys for evaluating proposed health care legislation on her Web site I have a few questions.
How can you coordinate care for measured outcomes without having the government interfering with doctors' and patients' health decisions?
How can you stabilize existing plans when a government option will be made available to undermine private plans? Won't most employers dump their plans and send the employees to the government plan to save money?
Are you really going to have shared responsibility for the cost? Are people who choose to sit on their butts and not work going to pay anything? Are illegal immigrants? No matter what, I will have to pay more. Right?
How do you mandate a measurable reduction in cost increases without rationing care and limiting what a doctor can earn?
How can you promote personal responsibility in prevention and wellness for a healthier America without having the government intrude in my life and trample my rights? Will I still have rights?
What do you mean by the phase "quality outcomes?" Does that mean you think doctors and surgeons are not performing well in this country? My family currently has great outcomes with our doctors and want no change. Who will be sitting in judgment? You?
With legislation pending that will radically change America, shouldn't Melissa Bean hold a town hall" meeting to address our concerns?
