Last week Carmel d. Marist, 36-32; Benet d. St. Joseph, 31-24.

Outlook The Corsairs will look to have their way offensively against a team they scored 49 points on last year. Led by sophomore fullback Jordan Kos (346 rushing yards), the Corsairs are averaging nearly 240 yards on the ground. The Carmel passing game got into the act against Marist, with quarterback Brian Serio throwing TD passes of 89 and 64 yards to Matt Felicelli. Serio also tossed a score to Matt Maher. ... Benet both ran and passed the ball well against St. Joseph last Saturday. Junior running back E.J. Howe scored 3 touchdowns, including one on a kickoff, while quarterback Luke Terna passed for 220 yards. ... Carmel senior safety Matt Tripicchio leads the team in tackles with 30 (24 solo).
