Life lesson for those who helped 'Coop'
What a great story "Magic in the End Zone" about Elgin High School's Winfred Cooper's magical run into the end zone against Lake Park High School. The special event wasn't fabricated to get into the record books, and it was made possible by coaches and players who gave "Coop" the opportunity of a lifetime.
What a life lesson for all those young men who made it work and cheered this special and rare moment. Since they "get it," they are the real heroes.
