Arlingtones Sing at the Boomers Game
On Friday, August 25, members of the award-winning Arlingtones Barbershop Chorus will again open the Schaumburg Boomers baseball game with the National Anthem. They'll also sing God Bless America and lead the 7th inning stretch. They have been performing at the Boomers since 2019.
The Arlingtones is the Arlington Heights Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society and have been entertaining throughout the NW suburbs for over 70 years. They are the most active A Capella group in the NW suburbs, averaging 26 performances a year. They open baseball and basketball games, have concerts at multiple retirement communities, perform an annual community concert, perform at Veteran's events and for the USN Recruits, etc.
The Arlingtones rehearse every Monday evening at the First UMC of Palatine. All first-time and other singers are always welcome to join us.
