Firefighters battle blaze at Crystal Lake home near Route 31

Crystal Lake firefighters are on the scene of a working structure fire on the 4700 block of East Crystal Lake Avenue, officials said.
Firefighters were called this morning to the scene, where heavy smoke and fire were visible in the home, which is for sale.
Fire officials called in a mutual aid box alarm to help battle the blaze, bringing in fire equipment and manpower from departments nearby.
The listing says the home is on 2.6 acres, features four bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths.
The home is located just west of Route 31. The cause of the fire and damages are unknown and remain under investigation by fire officials.
