Lindenfest

The celebration of summer continues at the annual Lindenfest. Events include a carnival, food and retail booths, live entertainment and a bingo tent.

Art and wine team up in Long Grove

Long Grove Fine Art & Wine Festival features a juried art show with cash awards, continuous live music, a wine tasting event and plenty of food.

Play ball!

Step back in time to watch the Geneva Rovers take on the Batavia Bat Men in an old-fashioned, nine-inning baseball game. Players will wear 19th century style baseball uniforms, and will follow 19th century game rules. The Geneva Rovers became Geneva's first baseball team in 1867. The event is sponsored by the Geneva History Center. Spectators are invited to bring blankets and lawn chairs for seating. Picnic lunches are also welcome

In a pickle

Learn the 19th century art of pickling at the Pickling Parties event at the Durant House Museum in St. Charles. See how pickles and corn relish are made in presentations in the 1843 Hearth Room and the 1880s Victorian Kitchen. Children attending the event will get to take home a jar of pickles.

That's Italian!
