Bokor shouldn't negotiate contract

In response to a Freedom of Information Act request that I made a couple of months ago, I was recently informed by District 15 that board member Rich Bokor would be the sole board member on the team that will be in charge of negotiating the District's contract with the transportation department employees (bus drivers). Rich Bokor (and his running mate Peggy Babcock) were heavily supported by the transportation employees in the recent school board elections. Transportation employees were photographed handing out and accepting campaign signs for Bokor and Babcock at the bus lot at Sundling Junior High in the weeks before the election. These signs, (along with signs for Linda Fleming, District 15 Transportation Department employee and current Palatine Township Supervisor) were placed in the hundreds by transportation employees along the right of ways in Palatine Township. Does any one else see the conflict of interest in having Rich Bokor, favored candidate of the bus drivers, being on the negotiating team for District 15?

Why doesn't the district appoint a board member without such an obvious debt to this special interest group?
