Nightclub hosts charity event
SCHAUMBURG - A charitable fashion show fundraiser is taking place at 10 p.m. Friday at Heat Nightclub, 616 E. Golf Road, Schaumburg. Organizers say 50 percent of the proceeds from the charity event will be donated to the American Diabetes Association and the other half to Chris Peterlin, the founder of VOP, Visually Odd Photography and the original producer of The Models of VOP Fashion & Rock Show. Due to an accident early this year, Peterlin is unable to walk or work. Peterlin has also been diagnosed with diabetes.
