Arrests made in West Chicago shooting
West Chicago police arrested two teenagers for a shooting incident early Sunday morning on the 100 block of Main Street.
Police charged Dante Farfan, 17, of the 2100 block of Pepper Valley Road in Geneva and Irvin Naranjo, 18, of the 700 block of Main Street in West Chicago, with aggravated attempted battery with a firearm, according to a police report.
If convicted, the suspects face a prison sentence of between four and 15 years.
Authorities were dispatched at 1:10 a.m. Sunday to a call of shots fired in the area of 100 Main Street. No one was injured in the incident.
The police report states after further investigation a probable cause was established, which led to the charges.
