Laws punish animal lovers

It was very unsettling to read a July 29 article regarding an animal lover being told his beloved potbellied pig has to be removed from his residence.

There have also been other articles in reference to compassionate cat guardians being forced to limit the number of felines that they can care for. Even more infuriating is benevolent bird lovers being threatened if they continue to feed hungry bird species.

Meanwhile, hunters, trappers and animal abusers are intentionally harming and killing innocent, sentient species with impunity.

We are living in a fallen, cruel and irreparably inhumane world if animal abusers have more rights than animal lovers.
