King's views don't reflect readership

I must say that I am annoyed by the almost weekly posting of hateful, ignorant letters from someone by the name of John King.

I presume that your goal as a member of the free press is to show a wide variety of views, and reflect the responsible opinions of the readers of your newspaper. Aren't there others out there who have more sensible, fair and unbiased views? I hope so.

Obama bashing is easy and obviously gratifies narrow-minded people. I would like to see some letters that reflect the intelligent readership that I know is out there, who appreciate that the president is doing his best to solve some very difficult problems.

I think perhaps the attention has gone to Mr. King's head, and perhaps you should stop printing his letters for a while and give him a chance to think about some issues more deeply.
