• Kellie Ann Jedrzejczyk, daughter of Andy and Julie Jedrzejczyk of Prospect Heights, was named to the dean's list for the spring semester, of the 2009 academic year, at Indiana Wesleyan University, Marion, Ind.

• John Klingner a sophomore American studies major at Hillsdale College, Hillsdale, Mich., was named to the dean's list for the 2009 spring semester. Klingner is the son of Tom and Kristine Klingner of Prospect Heights and a 2007 John Hersey High School graduate.

• Christopher Scarpulla of Elk Grove Village received a bachelor's degree, with a major in music education-vocal, during Millikin University's commencement ceremony May 17, at the Decatur Civic Center. Scarpulla is a graduate of Elk Grove High School.

• Michael Stencel of Des Plaines received a bachelor's degree, with a major in biology, from Millikin University during the commencement ceremony held May 17, at the Decatur Civic Center. Stencel is a graduate of Elk Grove High School.

• Natalie P. Young, daughter of Michael and Cynthia Young of Mount Prospect, graduated magna cum laude from Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa, School of Education, with a degree in elementary education.
