Public welcome to attend park district planning meeting

The Crystal Lake Park District is holding the fourth annual Lake Planning and Management Meeting for all interested residents from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Park Place, 406 W. Woodstock St., Crystal Lake.

The purpose of the meeting is to share information, answer questions and concerns regarding Crystal Lake, offer an explanation of the lake management process, and provide an overview of what is planned for the coming season.

The park district's lake manager will present the draft copy of the Crystal Lake's grant program for Crystal Lake. Representatives from the Illinois State Geological Survey and the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency will be in attendance.
