Briefs: Zurich enhances directors coverage

SCHAUMBURG -- Zurich Financial Services Group said Wednesday it expanded directors and officers liability insurance for middle market companies in North America. The enhanced offering, which includes several management liability products under one form, now targets private and nonprofit companies with up to $750 million in assets and fewer than 1,500 employees.

NADCA opens entries for contest

WHEELING -- The North American Die Casting Association said Wednesday it is calling for entries for the 2008 International Die Casting Competition. It includes categories for castings made with aluminum, magnesium or zinc. The annual competition, created to promote cutting-edge die cast design, recognizes outstanding castings in nine categories based on design, quality and cost savings. Entry forms are at www.diecasting.org/castings/competition. All entries must be postmarked by Feb. 22.
