Dentist offers free kid's exams
VERNON HILLS - Dental Care of Vernon Hills, the office of Dr. William Kisker, is offering free school dental exams to local children needing financial assistance. Noting that many children do not see a dentist on a regular basis because of cost, Kisker said he hopes free exams will ensure that no child in local school districts will have to file a dental exam waiver. Parents may waive the required exam if they cannot afford it or cannot find a dentist who takes their insurance. Dental Care of Vernon Hills is offering to examine the child and fill out the school form free of charge. For $39, parents can also have X-rays, cleaning and a fluoride treatment done for their child.
