Don't blame pro-lifers for one act

Please don't blame the entire pro-life community for the tragic action of one person who took the life of the late-term abortionist, Dr. Tiller. Although "innocent" doesn't apply to him (or me or any other adult) as it does to the unborn, nonetheless it was totally wrong to shoot him down and especially in a house of worship.

No sane, rational supporter of the stopping of abortion would resort to the very thing we are trying to end - the murder of American babies and babies around the world, the murder of anyone, adult or child. Whoever did this senseless killing has not helped the cause of the unborn but has hurt it.

Too many will blame the pro-life movement rather than just the person who pulled the trigger. Killing a fellow human being, no matter how vigorously one may disagree with him or her, does not honor God or humanity, those born and unborn. I do pray for repentance for whoever did this and for God's comfort and peace for his victim's family. We want the taking of innocent unborn children to end, but not this way.
