What if Congress relied on Medicare?

The news again reports that Medicare and Social Security will be out of funds in the near future. Does this mean that Congress will no longer get their hospitalization and pensions too?

Oh, dear.

I guess that it is only fitting since it is Congress that was responsible for spending Medicare and Social Security funds held in a slush fund over the years. Moreover, Congress has done nothing to protect Medicare or Social Security, but they would have if their health and future depended on it with the rest of us.
