District 200 ultra- careful on repairs

I wish to thank Wheaton-Warrenville District 200 for being a good neighbor. We live directly across the street from Carl Sandburg Elementary School in District 200.

Recently, some minor but very public excavation work had to be done on the front of my property in order to facilitate running new fiber optic cable for the school. Within a few days, I was pleased to see the school district had very professionally repaired the site of the excavation with new grass seed, special netting to hold the soil in place and, finally, straw over the whole thing to help in the retention of moisture.

The same kind of careful attention was given to the excavation site on the school side of the street. I had expected the district to do some repair work but did not expect the thoroughness and timeliness of the response. Thanks again.
