Roselle stabbing suspect released

Roselle police have released a suspect in a Wednesday stabbing that injured a 27-year-old Hanover Park man. Deputy Chief Roman Tarchala said the department still expects to file charges in the case, which detectives are investigating. The victim was stabbed late Wednesday following an altercation outside a restaurant near the intersection of Irving Park Road and Prospect Street in Roselle. Three other men also were injured in the incident, but police would not discuss their injuries or involvement.
