Don't release POW 'torture' photos

The following is an e-mail that I sent earlier today to Speaker Nancy Pelosi: Madame Speaker, the senate bill to fund the War on Terror contained an amendment to ban the release of questionable photos of POWs being "tortured." I understand that there are those who favor removing the ban, and thus allowing the photos to be viewed by the entire world.

As a longtime supporter of our military, I feel that this would cause irreparable damage while putting our men and women in uniform in grave danger. Our enemies would like nothing more than for those photos to be released. As Speaker, you can ensure that the amendment remains intact in the funding bill; therefore, I ask that you please do so.

Let's keep our fighting men and women as safe as we possibly can, and stop trying to aid and abet those who want to destroy us and our way of life.
