Obama gets no help from the other side

Let's take a look at where the Republicans in the forefront who have been criticizing the Obama administration stand.

1. Newt Gingrich. This is a man who gave us the contract with America. (How well did that work?) Now he claims to not be a citizen of the world? Are we all not? 2. Sarah Palin. Honestly, is there one thing she says that can be taken seriously? 3. John Bonner. For a man who spends so much time in front of a sun lamp? 4. Eric Cantor. Has anyone listened to the hate this man spews? Is there any way to take his comments seriously? 5. Rush Limbaugh. This man is paid handsomely to spew his fear and hate. Wants Obama to fail? With that statement he condemns us all. 6. Fox News. Has anyone really understood why Rupert Murdoch has unleashed this form of fear and hate called news upon us?

Barack Obama was handed the worst of possible situations to deal with. And this is the help he gets from the other side? There are things he has done that needed to be done. There was no other way. Or can you say "depression?" And with depression, can you say "anarchy?" After that, we all could understand what Third World country means?

I, for one, have hammered on us over borrowing for years. What would be the alternative? While I have not been in favor of our Congressman from the 6th District, Peter Roskam, I will give him his due here for staying as far away as he can from those the are in the forefront of the Republican Party.
