Lobsters prove tasty fundraiser for TriCity Family Services

TriCity Family Services prepares to kick off the summer with its "Great Lobster Fly-In." Fresh live lobsters will arrive Saturday, June 20.

For all the lobster lovers in the TriCity area, it's time to place your order for fresh lobsters, a tradition that's 20 years in the making. This year, there will also be available 8-oz. fillets from Blue Goose Market. Lobsters may be ordered live or steamed. Add fresh French boule loaves of bread from the Breadsmith in St. Charles for $4 each, and cupcakes from The Latest Crave for $6.50 per box (includes one carrot and one black bottom brownie).

The deadline for ordering is Monday, June 15. The lobsters cost $20 each, with all proceeds benefiting TriCity Family Services. Payment must accompany each order.

Order online at tricityfamilyservices.org, or call (630) 232-1070. Visa, Mastercard, and American Express are accepted. Order forms are also available at locations throughout the community, including the agency offices at 1120 Randall Court, Geneva.

All orders must be picked up at the "Great Lobster Fly-In" on Saturday, June 20, between 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. at the old Kane County Courthouse parking lot on James Street in Geneva.

All proceeds raised from the sale will benefit TriCity Family Services, a nonprofit counseling agency serving more than 3,000 residents of the Tri-Cities annually.
