Possible hate crime in Crystal Lake

Crystal Lake police are investigating a graffiti incident that likely took place overnight Sunday.

Officials reported that a homeowner residing on the 900 block of Boxwood Drive found an image resembling a swastika painted on his garage, officials said.

Officials said a criminal investigation has been opened, and anyone with information should contact the Crystal Lake Police Department at (815) 356-3620.
