If pols only paid for their health care

In President Obama's speech to the American Medical Association, he mentioned that one of the factors that put General Motors and Chrysler into bankruptcy was the high cost of health care. These high costs were at the demand the unions - the very same people who supported him in this campaign. Now that the government owns these 2 car companies, this looks like a way to dump these costs on the rest of us. Maybe if our elected officials in Washington had to pay for their own health care, they might have a real feel for how the medical world really worked.
