Intelligent design, and not evolution

It was interesting to read the AP article that ran in the Daily Herald, "Women built to have baby on board".

Your headline got it right but the scientists in the article want to attribute, "this elegant engineering" to evolution. The article repeatedly speaks of design for the wonderful way that women's backs are able to carry a baby in balance but it seems that they only want to draw one conclusion, evolution.

They never mentioned in the AP coverage of this discovery that perhaps remarkable engineering like this is intelligent design as opposed to their chosen conclusion, evolution.
