Foreclosure vote exposes Kirk

Mark Kirk has shown once again just how out of touch he is with the issues facing his district.

Kirk voted against the American Housing Rescue and Foreclosure Prevention Act designed to provide real relief for thousands of Americans facing home foreclosures.

Kirk claims to be a moderate Republican, but he voted against this bill despite the fact that it had widespread bipartisan support and was even signed into law by President Bush.

Currently, Illinois's foreclosure rate is the 10th highest in the nation.

We need a representative who understands the issues that his constituents face on a daily basis. In attacking today's housing and credit crises, Dan Seals will focus on the needs of the real people.
