CHICAGO - R.R. Donnelley & Sons Co. said Wednesday that its first-quarter profit tumbled 92 percent on restructuring and impairment charges, while sales dropped on weakening demand.

International sales declined 27.5 percent to $548.2 million partly on the stronger dollar, while U.S. print and related services revenue dropped 14.9 percent to $1.9 billion.
