Your donations to Barn Sale can help save wildlife
The Fox Valley Wildlife Center is having a Barn Sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, May 15 and Saturday, May 16, at the Wildlife Center, located in the Elburn Woods Forest Preserve.
It is seeking donations of household and kitchen items, decor, collectibles, antiques, DVDs, CDs, books, baby and toddler clothing, toys, games, pet items, bird feeders, garden items and yard art all in good and gently used condition.
Items not accepted include most electronics, large appliances, computers, televisions, large furniture including mattresses and box springs, adult clothing including shoes and purses, child car seats, text and reference books, large shop tools and automotive items including tires.
Drop-off dates for donations: from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3; 2 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 8; and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at the Fox Valley Wildlife Center, 46W061 Route 38, Elburn.
The Fox Valley Wildlife Center is a nonprofit, 501(c) 3 volunteer organization. All proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit the center's injured, orphaned and displaced wildlife. For information on the Barn Sale and for a complete list of acceptable and unacceptable items, visit FVWC.org.
