Motorola announces active mobile phone

LIBERTYVILLE - Motorola announced it is releasing its newest phone, the MOTO W7 Active Edition, a motion-enabled mobile device.

It's designed for those who want a "moving" phone experience as it's equipped with an accelerometer that senses your body's motions, orientation and hand gestures to perform tasks.

The phone, with a built-in step pedometer, will be available in Asia and Latin America.
