Ban cell phone use while driving
Dear Jessie White, I would like to implore you as a citizen who drives a vehicle in my working life to expand on your purposed legislation to restrict the use of cellular phones near schools and other locations and to outlaw the use of any kind of hand held phone while driving a motorized vehicle. During the course of my day I encounter a countless number of motorists who have difficulty driving vehicles appropriately without the distraction of attempting to multitask while using a phone. If it is imperative for people to use their phones, they should pull of the highway and do as they need to. There must be statistical analysis available that would support my belief that since the propagation of the cell phone the incidence of car accidents has increased. For the safety of our citizens I ask you to purpose the legislation for the protection of those of us who already drive defensively.
