Mt. Prospect benefits from experience

The tulips are coming up on most lawns. I have political signs!

In Mount Prospect Irvana Wilks is running for re-election for mayor. This town's in better shape than most around. She must have done something right the last four years. Why change in these uncertain times: www.irvanawilks.com.

Next is Mike Zadel who is seeking his third term as trustee. Mike grew up here and really understands this place and how it works from the ground up, literally. He was with public works for 10 years.

Steve Polit also knows his way around. Having been a Mount Prospect Park District commissioner for four years in the 90s, he's been involved in many village initiatives over the years and is a great advocate of getting people involved. Visit him at www.politfortrustee.com He was appointed to the board July 15, 2008 and really does his homework.

John Matuszak was appointed Oct. 7, 2008 and has become a really fast learner, having served on a village commission for a time. A great interest in serving the community spurs him on. Check him out at www.matuszakfortrustee.org

These are all hard working individuals who put in an incredible number of long hours with an awful lot of experience between them working toward the common good. Why don't you take a short amount of time to come out and vote on April 7?

"All politics is local." Help keep Mount Prospect in the great shape it's in ... this is where it starts.
