Geneva plans public library week celebration
The Geneva Public Library District will celebrate National Library Week April 12-18.
This week honors the contributions of our nation's libraries and promotes their use and support. All types of libraries - school, public, academic and special - participate.
During the celebration, the library will accept food donations for fines. One nonperishable item will waive up to $1 of fines. This program is for library patrons only, and is for fines only, not damaged or lost items.
All items will be donated to the Northern Illinois Food Bank. A list of suggested items is available at the check-in and checkout desks.
