Senior stroll in Sugar Grove's Bliss Woods

Seniors are welcome to join Kane County Forest Preserve District naturalists on a free guided walk from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 7 at Bliss Woods Forest Preserve in Sugar Grove.

This program is part of the monthly series called "Senior Stroll." Each month we explore a different preserve in Kane County. The walk lasts about an hour and is followed by refreshments and social time.

"The pace is relaxed, the company is pleasant, and nature always provides serendipity," stated Nature Programs Manager Valerie Blaine.

Bliss Woods is a "must-see" in spring with its spectacular display of wildflowers. Migrating birds in their breeding plumage are also abundant at Bliss Woods. Don't miss this free guided walk at one of the premier preserves in Kane County.

Bliss Woods is at 5S660 Bliss Road, Sugar Grove. For information, call (847) 741-8350. For a full roster of spring programs, visit www.kaneforest.com.
