District plans garage sale:

Fox Valley Park District will hold a Communitywide Garage Sale from 9 a.m. to noon May 2 at the Prisco Community Center parking lot, 150 W. Illinois Ave., Aurora. Interested sellers must register with the district. The fee is $30 for district residents and $45 for others. All proceeds from rental space will go toward youth community outreach programs. Lombard seeking volunteers:

Lombard is seeking volunteers to participate in the Lombard Pride cleanup day Saturday, April 25, at various locations throughout the village. The annual cleanup has been taking place for more than 20 years, said Joelyn Kott, communications and marketing coordinator for the village.
