One injured after SUV strikes lightpole on ramp in Schaumburg

Traffic was continuing to move Friday morning following after an SUV ran into a a lightpole on the ramp from southbound Route 53 onto westbound Interstate 90.

Illinois State Police received the call of the accident that damaged the lightpole at 9:18 a.m. Friday. Troopers said that traffic was able to move around the accident site on the right.

Schaumburg paramedics transported a man for medical treatment, but no further information was immediately available.
