As a taxpayer, I say fire the AIG CEOs

The taxpayer owns 80 percent of AIG. Therefore as a majority stockholder, I think we should fire every one of the greed babies who received bonuses. As a stockholder, I feel I have the right to look at all the employment contracts that guaranteed bonuses for non performance. I am also tired of employers, both public and private, who claim they have to have these outrageous contracts with benefits and golden parachutes in order to attract the best people only to have them ruin the company or, in the case of school superintendents, pay raises to increase their pensions and vacation days longer then the school year. Let the CEOs be fired, and they, too, can stand in line at the unemployment office with all the workers they laid off. CEOs say they have to retain the very same workers that caused the failures, but really where would they go and who would hire them?
