Automakers don't deserve bailouts

I think that Ford, GM and Chrysler have got a lot of nerve asking the government to bail them out.

Between the three companies, they put themselves into the situation they are in right now.

We have gone through how many gas crises since the '70s and they still haven't learned their lesson.

They produced oil derrick specials (Lincoln Navigator, GM Hummer) just to mention a few.

They asked the government to lower the mileage figures. We import 60-plus percent of our oil.

What did the Big 3 think would happen to the price of oil?

I think that the CEOs of these three companies should be fired and no parachutes for what they caused.

I say "no" to the bailout and then let their employees tear them a new hide for losing their jobs because of CEO stupidity.
