Children should listen, learn respect
Is it any wonder that the children of today have no respect for authority?
When the President of the United States speaks, no matter what the family's political affiliation is, the children should be told that they are to watch the speech quietly and pay attention to the message.
The children should then be encouraged to discuss the speech at home with the family.
This is not about politics - it is all about respect for the office of the President and for respect for authority figures be it parents, "grown-ups," teachers or principals.
