Roselle man in custody after allegedly pointing gun at girlfriend
A 35-year-old Roselle man is in custody after allegedly pointing a hand gun at his girlfriend's head Tuesday night, police said.
Officers responded to the 600 block of Rosner Road at 6:39 p.m. after numerous reports were received that the unnamed offender was holding a gun to the head of an unidentified woman outside of his house, officials said.
When officers arrived at the home, the offender and his girlfriend went back inside the residence.
Officers contacted the Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm System and the Emergency Services Team for assistance, but before their arrival, the offender had surrendered to police without incident.
The identity of the offender is being withheld by police until the offender is officially charged through the DuPage County State's Attorneys Office, police officials said.
