Kudos for another good Septemberfest
Thank you, Schaumburg, for another great fest. I have a couple of comments to make, though.
We really appreciated the benches, scattered around the grounds, where one could rest for a while. How about adding more of them among the craft booths as well as down near the corner of Summit and Schaumburg roads? These would provide a place to sit while waiting to meet up with friends and family.
Secondly and more important, I really think the Village should take a stand with the carnival people and not allow them to offer various types of "inflatable" weapons for prizes. How inappropriate for kids to be walking about with swords and other medieval weaponry, but especially with camouflage-colored assault rifles.
