Apply now for chance to be part of annual Swedish Days parade

March, dance or ride in the Swedish Days Grand Parade on Sunday, June 28.

The 2009 parade theme is "1949 Revisited" in honor of the 60th anniversary of Swedish Days.

Categories include: float, musical/walking unit, decorated car/truck, classic cars, political unit, band/drug and bugle, animal unit. All entries are to be colorful and visually entertaining. Former band members are invited to join the Second Time Around Band to march in the Swedish Days Parade on Sunday, June 28. All instruments are needed. Bring your own instrument, or rentals are available. Sign up by May 15 by contacting Joy Nelson at (630) 232-9547 or email TNe96602056@aol.com. A couple of practices will be scheduled.
